The IIOSS Project

IIOSS is a software development environment that offers a tool whose multi-facets include a UML editor, a model simulator, an interface builder, a file converter and an object-oriented database. You can use IIOSS to design, to model, to prototype and to develop an object-oriented software. IIOSS is the acronym for "Integrated Inter-exchangeable Object-modeling and Simulation System for Opensouce software environment".

IIOSS is an opensource software licensed under "The modified BSD license" style lisence, coded in 100% pure Java, multi-platform and vender-independent. Also it is in compliance with industry-standards such as UML, XML/XMI and Java.

The goal of the IIOSS project has been to come up with a set of software design/development tools and components that are not only vender independent and multi-platform but also efficient and expandable.

IIOSS can be obtained and used freely from www.iioss.org.
